Susan Hawthorne

Susan in Cozumel
Born in Virginia and raised on the shores of the beautiful Chesapeake Bay, S. Tilghman Hawthorne was always surrounded by worlds of Fantasy. Imagination bolstered by a favorite aunt who told her delightful tales of otters who lived in boathouses and walruses who walked the glittering shores, she saw stories where others saw only sand.

At the tender age of eleven, she read J.R.R. Tolkien’s “Fellowship of the Ring” and Fantasy became her constant companion.

A medical secretary by trade, Susan’s true passion is writing.  She has published two articles in “The Riverside Nurse” but her goal is to publish her fiction.  She has written several short stories and is working on a Fantasy novel entitled “Legacy of the Medallion”.

Having raised her daughter on her own and having married the man of her dreams, she is now ready to put a new focus on her writing.  She is working to hone her craft and become the published author she has always dreamed of being.
